Face Data Collection and Use (Sculpt App)
Our Sculpt app uses Apple's ARKit framework to detect head position and facial movements during exercises. Here is how we handle this data:
1. What We Collect:
Head pose angles (pitch, yaw, roll) for exercise detection
Jaw opening measurements for specific exercises
NO facial images, videos, or facial mesh data is collected
2. Data Retention:
Face data is NOT retained. All facial tracking data is processed in real-time on your device and immediately discarded after each exercise session.
We do NOT store face data on our servers or any cloud service.
Only derived exercise metrics (form scores, rep counts, duration) are saved to track your progress.
3. Third-Party Sharing:
We do NOT share face data with any third parties.
Face data never leaves your device.
Only anonymous exercise completion metrics may be shared with analytics services - these contain NO biometric or facial data.
4. On-Device Processing:
All face tracking is performed locally on your device using Apple's ARKit framework.
Face data is processed entirely in memory and is never written to disk or transmitted over the network.
